Came here with friends to celebrate a birthday. Everyone was kind and food was great and came at a timely pace. Arnold and Nick were fantastic! Gave great recommendations and took time to talk to us. Lovely people here. Would definitely recommend and come back again very soon!

I had the opportunity to visit JU Sushi during my vacation in Michigan, and it was definitely one of my favorite places I visited during the trip. The restaurant has a very calm and pleasant atmosphere, perfect for enjoying a meal at any time of day. The space is also quite spacious so I think it would even be a great place for small events or gatherings. I tried the sashimi, different rolls, and desserts, and I absolutely loved everything. They also have a great selection of wines. In particular, I really enjoyed pairing the nigiri with white wine it was an exceptional combination. I would definitely come back many more times. Excellent food, service, atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Food: 10/10, took a long time for someone to come take our order, idk if the host told the waitress he sat someone in their section. Known for sushi lit on fire 🔥

We visited from out of town several years ago & fell in love. We could not wait to return but were sourly disappointed. The romantic, chic ambience was gone. We were sat at a table near a bucket to catch water from the hole in the ceiling sitting in the middle of the restaurant. So, there went the vibe we were hoping for on our last night in town for the holiday day weekend. Our server was initially present and engaged, then disappeared for 20 minutes before returning to take our food orders. After that, we waited over 60 minutes to receive our food. At one point, she came over to tell us our food was ready and she would be right back. However, we watched her tend to other tasks, including pouring drinks behind the bar for an additional 20 minutes before my wife went to get her attention to ask after our food. She said the restaurant was unusually busy that night (even though we could count the number of patrons on 2 hands) and the owner sent most of the staff home. She offered a discount and apology. The food was just as delicious as we remembered which is unfortunate b/c the customer service and atmosphere ruined it all for us. Will not return!

Always FRESH! Great specials, creative rolls and options. Service is stellar, all of the people working here know the assignment. Atmosphere is sexy sitting next to the fireplace and more family style in the open seating areas, so the beat of both worlds. You can take a date or your grandma out to eat anytime- assuming they like sushi. Now on another note their fried rice is super good. You can get all the add-ins meat no meat whatever You like. The drinks are good and stiff, very creative too.
